Mick Reeves has sent details of a Servo Control system that he has been experimenting with - and it works !
It involves using a commercial Servo Controllers which are used for testing servos without switching on the R/C transmitter.
I'm sure it will soon become a popular alternative control system for C/L models.
Could it replace the three line system ???
An alternative method.

The potentiometer that is fitted to the Servo Controller (tester) is rated at 10k, if you modify the unit as described you will need to fit a 47k potentiometer to your handle.
Both of the above methods require the use of insulated lines and a non-conductive Handle and Bellcrank. The Robarts 3 Line handle mechanism is metal so the lines / linkages would have to be insulated from the handle - using Nylon blocks perhaps ? The same would apply if you use a metal bellcrank with a plastic handle.
